Affordable Treatment For Everyone
At Buoyancy Orthodontics, we make it simple and affordable to begin your journey toward a beautiful smile. With flexible options available, achieving the smile you’ve always dreamed of is now more accessible and budget-friendly than ever!
During your initial visit to Buoyancy Orthodontics, Dr. Chris Shi will conduct a thorough evaluation of your teeth and jaw alignment. This helps us determine if your teeth are properly positioned and assess the overall alignment of your bite. It’s generally recommended that children have their first orthodontic evaluation around age 7, as this allows us to assess their current dental health and predict how their teeth will develop over time. Early intervention, when needed, can help guide proper alignment and may reduce the need for more extensive treatment later on.
In addition to the examination, we often take diagnostic images such as X-rays, photos, or digital impressions during this visit. These provide a clearer view of your oral health, including tooth development, jawbone condition, and other key factors. With this comprehensive information, we can create a treatment plan that’s specifically tailored to meet your needs, whether you’re a child, teen, or adult.
Treatment Options
We will then discuss whether orthodontic treatment is necessary and, if so, whether it should begin immediately or be delayed until your teeth and jaws have further developed. We will review all available treatment options in detail, ensuring you fully understand each one before deciding on the best course of action.
This is also an excellent opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about your treatment. To help guide your conversation, here are some common questions you might want to consider during your first visit:
- When is the ideal time to start treatment?
- What procedures will be involved?
- Will I need any teeth extractions?
- How long will the treatment take?
- What is the cost, and what are the payment options?
- What office policies should I be aware of during my treatment?
Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, well-informed, and confident in the care you’ll be receiving.
